Hey bro
Have ever felt as if your day is lagging or that you just don’t feel the motivation necessary to do everyday tasks? Do you see people on Instagram posting ‘’carpe diem’’ and in turn you only can wish for the same thing?
I’m here to tell you bro that from now on you’re about to turn your mornings and days upside down. In this post I’ll give you 5 of my best morning routine steps that are actionable, no bullshit tips, but before I delve into them let’s first discuss why people experience bad days.
Remember this ‘’if you have a shitty morning, you’ll ultimately have a shitty day’’ it’s that simple. What you do during your mornings greatly affect your entire day, this might seem like a no-brainer but not everyone keeps this in the back of their head first thing they wake up. I want you to imagine a make belief guy, we’ll name him Robert in this case. Robert has a habit of setting his alarm rather early every night, but eventually when the morning comes he always hits the snooze button at least 5 times, meaning he already robs himself 20-30 min of his day by just snoozing a little extra. Of course at some point he will wake up, but instead of getting up he lays in his bed, scrolls through Instagram for at least 1 hour. He realizes that he’s got a job and gets up, by this time he’s wasted a good hour and 30 minutes. After this he maybe watches some useless YouTube videos or pretty much just lingers around the house before he leaves for work.
This kind of behavior is toxic, it fucks up your entire day, leaving you in a down right gloomy state of mind that hinders people from achieving new highs, and they also leave things for the next day hoping that the following day will somehow be different. I’m here to tell you it won’t, you are only excusing yourself to continue this bullshit behavior, this might seem harsh but you have to realize this for yourself. Think about it, how often do you put off things? How often do you actually take the steps necessary to make a change?
Do you see my point? Let’s now skim over how a positive, uplifting day might look like, the days you dream about.
You get your ass out of the house early, put on your motivational playlist and hit the gym. You crush it there, push your body to new limits, get stronger and overall just feel great. Afterwards you go to your job or school. Stay productive the entire working day challenging yourself and expanding your knowledge somehow. You rub off your positivity on other people, you notice it and so do they. You walk with confidence, people notice it, and it only boosts your self-esteem.
Does this sound like a great day? Listen man, these types of days are achievable, you have it in yourself to cut the bullshit and have amazing days. So if you’re ready I’m about to give you my 5 actionable steps that will improve your days.

1. Wake up 1-2 hours earlier than usual.
Say that you usually get up at around 8am, get up at 6. By doing this you will add more time to your entire day which you’ll soon see can drastically affect your productivity. Immediately after get out a pen and paper (phone optional) and type in what you have to get done. Drink a large glass of water as this will fire up your metabolism.
2. Take a cold shower.
Studies have continuously shown that cold showers have multiple benefits. I’ll sum them up quickly: Increased productivity, higher levels of testosterone, more energy, better skin and hair. This is why I recommend you take a cold shower, by stepping out of your comfort zone and exposing your body to cold water you’ll be all fired up to crush the day. Keep in mind that the uncomfortableness felt can be translated into other areas of your life such as: social life, dating, finances etc.
3. Eat a big (healthy) breakfast.
This is common sense man, you’ve got to eat good food that fills you up with energy and is at the same time nutritious and healthy. Skipping out on breakfast is a sure fire way to stay grumpy until lunch.
4. Read.
Reading is a practice that takes time but instead wasting time you fill your brain with new knowledge that can impact your entire life. Right now I’m reading this book called ‘’A guide to the good life’’ by William B Irvine that talks about ancient roman stoicism, recommend it strongly. 5. Hit the gym.
This is crucial, you have to be consistently hitting the gym, pushing your body to new limits. Not only will you grow bigger and have a more muscular frame but your inner confidence will sky rocket, why do you think so many men are hooked on lifting weights? It is also a masculine hobby, hobbies are extremely important for a man to have, think about it, what are you going to say when a woman asks what you do on your free-time, play video games? That is an instant turn off bro, women like men who have things going on in their life, they don’t want a slob who sits around, plays video games and eats junk-food. My recommendation is get a gym membership, cut the useless bullshit you do that you don’t gain anything from and get big.
To conclude my recommendation, you have to start your day off on the right foot. If you fail to do this, you will most definitely fuck up your entire day, as we saw in the example that I’m sure most guys can in some form relate to. But don’t let this discourage you, never. Instead use this knowledge to your advantage and dominate over other guys that choose the lazy, depressed lifestyle. By implementing and using these simple tips you’ll juice your day up.
Now get your ass out of bed and crush this day ahead of you!
